Széchenyi nyomán a rádióamatőrök

Nincs könnyű dolga annak a rádióamatőrnek, aki Gróf Széchenyi Zsigmond kalandos utazásait és vadászexpedícióit szeretné nyomon követni az éteren át.
Ezekkel a szavakkal kezdte cikkét Atyaki Gábor, a Magyar Vadászlap szeptemberi számában megjelent írásában.

Nincs könnyű dolga annak a rádióamatőrnek, aki Gróf Széchenyi Zsigmond kalandos utazásait és vadászexpedícióit szeretné nyomon követni az éteren át.
A híres Afrika-kutató vadász élete során, négy földrész tizennégy országában vadászott.
Borsföldi Ferenc kaposvári rádióamatőr a múlt évben egy felhívást tett közzé, melynek lényege, hogy a rádióamatőrök minél több olyan országgal teremtsenek kapcsolatot, ahol Széchenyi Zsigmond korábban vadászott.
A feladat nem egyszerű, de aki igazolja a kapcsolatfelvételt, egy díszes "trófeával", a Széchenyi Big Hunter Diplomával bővítheti elismeréseinek számát.
A sorszámozott diplomát eddig tízen vehették át.
Az egyes sorszámú diplomát Széchenyi Zsigmond özvegyének, Mangi néninek ajándékozták a rádióamatőrök.

2006 szeptember 9-én Kőröshegyen, Gróf Széchenyi Zsigmond emlékére szobrot avattak, ahol többek közt a diploma alapítója, Borsföldi Ferenc / HA3GE / kaposvári rádióamatőr, és az író, vadászutazó özvegye, Mangi néni is részt vettek.
